Women Awareness Centre Nepal organised a handsontraining for repair and maintenance of eCooking appliances. Under this trainingprogramme 44 local participants, both women and men, were trained for 90 hours over a period of 18 days. The participants learned the repair and maintenance of several kitchen appliances including EPCs, Inductions, Electric Kettles. This trainingprogram was conducted in partnership with Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute (NBPI), one of the constituent institutes of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Women Awareness Centre Nepal organised this training under its ongoing program “Accelerating the uptake of EPCs in Nepal through Creating a Sustainable Supply Chain and Demand Stimulation” supported by MECS programme Sparking the Cooking Supply Chain (SC2).
