Standing Together in Solidarity with Bhotekoshi Flood-Affected Communities
Today, Nari Chetana Kendra Nepal (WACN) deposited NPR 201,111 into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support people affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.
The recent disaster has caused significant loss of lives and property, particularly in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and other affected areas, leaving thousands of people displaced and in need of urgent support. We extend our deepest condolences to all those who lost their lives and heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families.
This contribution was voluntarily collected from the WACN fund, founders, executive committee members, general members, volunteers and staff as a small but meaningful contribution towards relief and recovery efforts.
We hope this support will contribute to the government’s ongoing efforts for emergency rescue, relief, healthcare and rehabilitation of the affected communities.
Nari Chetana Kendra Nepal remains committed to standing with communities during times of crisis. We also sincerely urge the Government of Nepal, local authorities and all concerned organizations to continue strengthening immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts in the affected areas.
Together, we stand in solidarity with the people affected by the Bhotekoshi flood.
